Lawrence Ong

Before coming on as staff in 1994, he began as a music volunteer - playing flute and saxophone in the pioneering days of our band before moving onto lead worshipping. Currently he oversees the Event Programming department. He is involved in worship service development – primarily with lead worshipper and music team development; as well as overseeing our church level events.

Apart from listening to the latest praise and worship albums; Lawrence enjoys listening to classical or jazz music, singing, sports - keeping fit at the gym and watching his favourite football team Man Utd. On occasions, he can be spotted checking out the latest gadgets on the internet or at Funan. Not only does he love eating apples of all types but also an Apple (Mac) user.

Ng Kin Wee

Kin Wee has been actively involved in our Creative Arts ministry development over the past 10 years. He has also been involved in running corporate level events like Missions conference, and Christmas productions. He assists in writing and revising WAM Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

He can be seen going for dramas, dance events and musicals with his team. In keeping up with the arts, He also teaches ballet from Beginner to Advanced Intermediate levels. He is on the Worship pathway and finds his connectedness with God in movement.

Nel Lim

Nel has been serving in the staff team for just over 1 year. She is currently working as a Tertiary Pastoral Staff and Event Programming Executive. In Event Programming, she participates as a member in church level project teams for Easter, Anniversary, and Christmas services. She also looks into vocalist development within the church and organising our monthly Worship Arts and Media (WAM) volunteer nights.

She likes art, music, and anything that is creative and inspiring. She loves watching theatrical plays and going for outdoor concerts. On weekends, she catches up with friends around the Esplanade or chills out where good bands play live. To her, life can be exciting and beautiful. It all depends on how you lead it. One life to live, live it the fullest!

Steven Yeoh

Steven has been serving in the staff team for over 7 years. He is currently working as the Technical and Productions Executive. In Event Programming, he leads the Media Ministry of the church, promoting team formation and development, managing e-resources webpage, provide technical support in all Corporate Projects and assist in managing the facilities in Nexus.

He likes photography and spends his free time editing photos. He also likes to make DIY gadgets and fixtures for photo and video related equipment. He is married to Bernnise and they have a cute little 3 month old baby boy.
